Our founder, David Laliberté, has over twenty five years of experience, first as a lawyer with leading international law firms Dentons and Baker & McKenzie, and then as a senior in-house lawyer at Rogers, BlackBerry and Microsoft.
Meet the leaders
David Laliberte
Managing Partner
David Laliberté is TMT Law's founder. He is a lawyer with 25 years of experience in the technology and media industry. He previously served as an Attorney and Director of Intellectual Property Policy at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington, where he was responsible for driving the company's IP policy strategy, positioning, and engagement in several jurisdictions, including Europe, India and Canada. Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked as a Regulatory Counsel at both BlackBerry Limited and Rogers Communications.
Faye Cheraghi is TMT Law's Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she handles the firm’s administrative, human resources, marketing and financial matters. Faye is an experienced operations and business development professional with a background in various industries, including logistics, shipping and retail in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East. During her 20+ years of experience, she successfully managed teams of employees, developed and implemented sales strategies, while consistently achieving sales growth. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Azad University.
